A.I.R. Gallery Post Card Show X Lisa Case
Hey Locals! I have a piece in the “Wish You Were Here” show at the A.I.R. Gallery in Dumbo. The show will be up from May 24th - June 24th so swing by and check it out!
A.I.R. GALLERY: 155 Plymouth St, Brooklyn, New York 11201
2018 Annual National Artists’ exhibition and the 17th edition of the Postcard Show.
The Postcard Show "Wish You Were Here" is dedicated to immigrant rights and reproductive justice advocate, Alejandra Pablos, who was detained on March 7th for protesting against the Department of Homeland Security at a rally in Virginia. She was released on April 19th on an $8,000 bond, but now must continue to fight against her deportation case. Pablos has dedicated her life to supporting and protecting the rights of Latinx immigrant communities. Each original work is sold for $45 and proceeds go to benefit A.I.R. Gallery programs and Alejandra Pablos' legal fees. Unsold postcards will be donated to Mijente and the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health.
